Who is YP Farms?

Is your farm open for others to come visit and buy directly from the farm?

Lychee season is a very busy season for us and as we have large equipment on the site, we do not host any customer on site for their own safety. But as we have received many requests, we are considering this option. Please stay in touch with us on Facebook and we will keep you posted.

What are “Ungassed” Bananas?

Ethylene gas is used to induce ripening. In fact, bananas ripen themselves by producing ethylene and that’s why adding more ethylene to the air will speed banana ripening further. At YP Farms our bananas can be ordered “ungassed” (i.e. not treated with ethylene). They aren’t as vivid a yellow color as the gassed bananas and are usually a mix between green and a muted yellow color, but the flavor of un-gassed bananas is generally better.

Can I order a custom quantity of any product that is not displayed on the website?

If you require a quantity that is not mentioned as a choice for any particular product, for example, if you need less than 5 lbs or more than 20 lbs of any product please contact us directly or place a wholesale order.


When will the shipment arrive if I pre-order products?

We ship every day of the week, except on Saturday. Once you choose the delivery period, we will try our best to ship your order as early as possible in that week. Based on the best crop availability pre-orders are shipped between the week of expected delivery selected, but may arrive the week after due to shipping limitations. But we also want to ensure that the product you get is sent to you when it’s at its best. So, if our crop is delayed, we will inform you and then take further guidance from you.

How are bulk food items shipped and packed?

Our bulk food products are sold by weight, not volume, and are packaged in random weight packages. You will probably not receive the exact amount of an individual bulk food item that you order – however, it will be very close. We adjust the sales order based on the actual weight of the items in your package (but the total charge is never higher than you paid for at checkout). We pay strict attention to packing website orders accurately.

Can I pick up my order for fresh lychee fruit rather than having it shipped to me?

You can pick up your order if you make arrangements with us at least a day in advance. We are located in Loxahatchee, Florida [CONTACT US]

How will my Lychees be shipped to me?

A Lychee is a very delicate fruit and to preserve its freshness, we recommend shipping Lychees with Next Day shipping. To preserve the freshness of the Lychee, YP Farms ships all of their Lychees with a longer stem attached and some leaves. This ensures that the Lychee will stay fresh longer while in transit.


What do I do if I have a problem with my order?

I thought I changed my order, but when my delivery arrived, it hadn't changed. What happened?

Firstly, when placing your order, always make sure to click the Update button when adding or removing items to your weekly order, then hit the Checkout button before you exit. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. In addition, a confirmation email containing this same summary will be sent to you. Is my credit card information secure when I buy online from YP Farms?

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your credit card information. SSL is an industry standard protection that protects your credit card transaction by encrypting it.

What credit cards do you take?

Visa, Mastercard & American Express. We currently do not take Discover.


What is YP Farms shipping policy?

We ship our products via FedEx our USPS every day except on Saturdays. For Lychee shipping, we recommend “Next day” to preserve the freshness. Generally, orders are shipped the same or next business day after the order is placed.  For more details on our Shipping policy click HERE.

What is your Return/Refund Policy?

With YP Farms, we take pride in the quality of product and our careful shipping and handling process. Moreover, we want our customers to be happy and satisfied.
